Lassen Association of Realtors®

The Lassen Association of Realtors® is a group of REALTORS® and Affiliate colleagues who service the public in Lassen County and beyond.  Our REALTOR® members are proud to follow a strict Code of Ethics which is an extension of The Golden Rule.  We are encouraged by our President and Board of Directors to stay informed about new government regulations and changes in real estate law.  We are mandated to take 45 hours of continuing education before renewing our real estate licenses every four years.

Lassen County real estate covers a wide variety of properties, including commercial, single family, multi family, farms, ranches and land.  There are REALTOR® members of our Association who are experts in listing and selling all of the above.   We work tirelessly for our buyers and sellers and are never happier than when an escrow closes and everyone is satisfied!

Our Affiliate members include lenders, appraisers, insurers and other service companies.  They provide professional and trade services for the public, and our REALTOR® members are proud to have them as part of our Association!

We support many community projects and events as an Association and as individual members, including College Scholarships for High School Seniors, the Main Street Cruise, and some political candidates.  We have monthly General Meetings and we provide Country and City Real Estate Caravans for our sellers.

We are located at 1740 Main Street, Suite C in Susanville, California.

About Lassen County

Lassen County encompasses almost 4541 square miles of mountains, valleys, deserts, rivers, and lakes. It was named after Peter Lassen who was a renowned frontiersman and trapper. He was one of General John C. Fremont's guides and was mysteriously murdered in the Black Rock Desert in 1859. His murder was never solved.

Susanville is the only incorporated city in Lassen County and is home to the Lassen Association of Realtors®. Susanville is bounded to the west by the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. The National Registry of Historic Places lists many places located within Lassen County, including the Susanville Railroad Depot, Roop's Fort, and the Lassen County Courthouse in Susanville. Other historic places include Bruff's Rock Petroglyph Site, Noble's Emigrant Trail, Standish Hall, and the Willow Creek Rim Archeological District.

Lassen County is home to two state prisons, one federal prison, and the Sierra Army Depot. They provide employment to hundreds of people and have a positive impact on the local economy.

Residents and visitors alike can enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, camping and bird watching in Lassen County. Since 2003 the Susanville Symphony Orchestra has been delighting audiences with a wide variety of beautiful music performed by talented local musicians and guest stars from around the world.

Family memories are made every year at Wemple's Pumpkin Patch in Milford where children can ride in little red wagons as they pick out perfect pumpkins. There is also a Country Store and tractor display.

The Bizz Johnson Trail is an awesome 29-mile jogging, hiking, biking and sightseeing trek from Susanville to Westwood.

Coppervale Ski Hill is located 14 miles west of Susanville and features a poma lift and 13 skiable acres. Lassen College in Susanville offers ski classes as part of their curricula.

Eagle Lake is 15 miles north of Susanville and features world-class fresh water fishing and is home to the very large Eagle Lake Trout.
